Will we still be able to visit the ‘old’ AfrikaBurn event site?

Yes.

Stonehenge remains a place dear to all of our hearts, where anyone is able to visit – as long as the landowners, who operate Tankwa Tented Camp, are notified. If you would like to return to Stonehenge, all you need to do is book a visit with the Tented Camp team.

Please don’t visit Stonehenge without alerting the Tented Camp team: it’s a private property, and like you the owners don’t want people wandering around their home unannounced.

Our location since 2007 has played a huge role in shaping our event, and many of us have become deeply attached to the landscape and all that it has meant to us. At our 2020 event, we’ll have the opportunity to say goodbye to the event site (Stonehenge Private Reserve) that’s been our home for the past 13 years, and thank the owners of that property that have been with us on this journey since 2007 and have opened their home and hearts to us over the years.
